Cobra Fatty Freeway Bars

I bought a set of these bars a couple of years ago...I was in a accident..last summer..someone pulled in my lane and my bike went right under his truck...the crash bars were so strong!..they lifted his truck off the ground... preventing him from leaving the seen of the accident...the bars wedged under the frame...they did not bend! But lost some of the chrome plate from grinding in to the pavement...after I fixed the bike...I didn't have the money to replace the bars.. so I rapped them with black gorilla tape...worked fine!...now that I have the cash...I am ordering a new set...

I had several Cobra branded items on my previous bike so I knew I would not be disappointed in this product. I love the oversized bars which perfectly matches the aesthetic of this mega cruiser.

I added these bars to my '03 Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 Classic. They thick bars look great on a big bike. I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to mechanical stuff, but once I figured out how to install, it was a breeze.

When I first started riding hiway bars or crash bars as they used to be called were mandatory on any bike on the road. Nowadays not so much, I had been looking for a set of bars for a while and hadn't had any luck until a friend suggested looking on parts giant and that's when I found them and they are great. Easy to install and come with everything you need to put them on with the exception of loctite to lock the bolts but that's a small price to pay to insure everything stays nice and tight.

Fit great and the Fatty bars look good on the bike.

The package was great. Had easy instructions for mounting the bar. The only problem I had was the bolts are a little short. The bolts for the lower mount didn't make it through the thread lock.

Really like the crash bar. I put it on my Stratoliner and it looks great. Big bar for a bike bike!

Freeway bars fit perfect. Item was delivered in perfect condition. Price was great. They look great. Would love to get rear bars.

Great looking. Only issue I had with them was they weren’t exactly bent right.I had to force with all my strength to get it in far enough to get the bottom side bolt started.

Once I removed the old peg mounts install was easy with everything lining right up. Look great on my Honda VTX1300T and would certainly recommend them. Thanks!

The Cobra freeway fatty bars arrived well packed and all in order. Installation was no great effort. Product is very nice. Very pleased with transaction.

I live in New England, but these bars started to rust in less than a year on a bike that never saw the rain and was garage kept all winter. Cobra refused to replace them as their warranty is only 90 days. How do you limit the warranty of chromed steel pipe to only 90 days? So unless you live in Nevada, I recommend you look for better chrome and a better warranty.

My 2nd set for VTX1800. They Look great and proportional for the bike. When I took a spill last year, while the bar bent enough to restrict my foot brake travel, the bike suffered no other damage thanks to this bar! Not saying anything about any other freeway bars out there, but won't put anything else on this bike!

1-1/2 inch diameter - good bulk for a large machine like the Roadsrar. Good choice.

I installed these fatty bars on my VTX1300 in 20 minutes tops. They fit like a glove and wow, do they ever look good. I highly recommend these. Trust me you won't regret it!

First off, let's hear it for Parts Giant. The shipping was so quick I felt like I was in one of those Road Runner cartoons where the Acme truck shows up immediately. Well done! Mounting these was pretty easy, although the top bracket was at an angle so I had to bear down pretty hard to get it flush with the frame. Once it was on? Fantastic.

As far as the Cobra Fatty Bars....Looks good out of the box and on my bike when attached. Would have given the Cobra product a higher rating because everything lined up and installed with very little hassle but the welding job was not quite as professional as I expected. I have to say that the weld will hold and is at the foot rest so it will not be seen.

First of all let me say this. I ordered this item on a Thursday morning and received it the next day!!! Second, while backing up my 2006 Roadliner my foot slipped and I ended up tipping the bike on its side and the bar stopped it from totally going over and crushing anything on my bike and leg. Awsome product, took me 20 min to install.

Part was delivered fast ,install was fast with detailed instructions.
