There's not much to be said about an oil filter, however, this unit appeared to be well made and the chrome has a nice bright, polished look that really shines. Installation was easy and it looks sharp on my Yamaha R1.

How many miles are recommended on the Hiflo filter before changing it

HiFlo oil filters are built to meet or excede OEM oil filter specifications. That being said, HiFlo recommends changing oil filters at the same intervals specified in your machine's owner's manual. Of course, if you're racing or riding in particular dirty environments, you'll want to reduce your oil change intervals to compensate for the potential prevalence of contaminants in your engine oil.
is this filter ok for synthetic oil

Hiflo's oil filters are compatible with any oil that's recommend by your machine's manual. And, they're certainly suitable for use with synthetic oils, as well as synthetic blends and conventional oils.
