Hinson basket negatives -Yamaha yfs200 blaster

I have now spent money on three separate aftermarket sets of clutch fibers to fit this Hinson clutch basket , all after market clutch fibers will not fit this only “OEM YAMAHA” lemme repeat that “OEM YAMAHA” clutch fibers will fit this application (I tried fitting Tusk’ EBC’ Barnett ) after calling Hinson themselves and Rocky Mountain Atv and many others They did not know this information and could not give me a straight answer.... thanks to Ken o Connor racing for filling me in! Ponied up the extra bucks for this black beauty and a pro x inner hub for my 1998 rm125. Bike would chatter at take off and couldn't get into neutral with bike running. After a new hinson basket and pro x inner hub with a ebc clutch kit this bike is now running great. Hinson is the cats a@$ in clutch baskets. Now I'm shifting like I'm slicing through butter and can hit neutral every time. If you want your machine to run like a raped ape get a hinson clutch basket.

If i just need the basket, but using original clutch plate. Will this basket work with oem clutch plate? Im running a 2005 yz450f.

Yes, Hinson's Billetproof clutch baskets will work with the OEM clutch plates. They're completely interchangeable with all OEM clutch components: clutch plates, clutch hub, clutch springs &etc. You should have no problem installing this YZ450F clutch basket on your machine.

Does the gear come on the back of the basket for a 2005 trx450r

Hinson's Billetproof clutch basket for the 2005 Honda TRX450R does not come with a ring gear on the back of it. You are to re-use the OEM ring gear to install it on this clutch basket. To do this, you'll have to use an angle grinder to remove the factory gear. The mounting plate, which is included in the kit also comes with fasteners for attaching the ring gear. The instructions that come with each one of these kits clearly explains how to go about doing the work so you can put your Honda TRX450R back together with confidence.
