Can the oil level cap be accessed easily?

While it's a little tighter than the stock exhaust, there's still plenty of room to easily check the oil level.
Does this pipe come with heat shields?

Yes indeed! All Bassani Road Rage Short Upswept Exhaust Systems comes with full-coverage heat shields in either a ceramic black or chrome finish.
I have a 2007 Street Bob, does the rear pipe not curl around the cam cover? All other pictures I've seen of this pipe it does.

In the case of the 2007 FXDB Dyna, the exhaust header is routed behind the cam cover. When you select your make, year and model from our fit guide, you will see exactly how the the exhaust is routed on your machine.

Bassani's Road Rage Short Upswept exhaust system is fabricated using mild steel and aluminum parts. Specifically, it has a billet aluminum end cap, steel heat shields and mild steel piping. Depending on the finish selected, the heat shield and muffler would be ceramic coated black or a chromed mild steel.
