Cobra Speedster Xtra Longs Full Exhaust System Chrome Yamaha Stratoliner 2006-2014

Traditionally styled shotgun pipes also produce class-leading power gains. Includes Cobra's limited lifetime warranty.

Speedster pipes form a wonderful blend of traditional styling and modern performance technology. Classically styled pipes feature full-length, 222-degree heat shields, chromed aluminum billet tips. Delivers power gains over stock that are among the highest in the business. In part those gains come from the Cobra PowerPort, a proprietary crossover technology that helps to increase overall power from idle to redline. Cobra's engineers virtually lived in the dyno room testing, refining, then testing some more to get the best horsepower gains balanced with real-world rideability. The end result is the dyno-proven-and-tested PowerPort, providing the kind of power increase you normally experience with a 2-into-1 system, while retaining the clean classic lines of a 2-into-2 pipe.

  • PowerPort increases power and overall performance similar to what you might expect from a 2 into 1 system
  • Large 2.5" 222 degree heat shields fit exhaust ports to the billet tips for a seamless look and no bluing
  • Beautifully machined billet end caps for a truly custom finish
  • Easy installation
  • Made in the USA

Great product.

Great exhaust for the Stratoliner. Use the stock O2 sensor and remove the cables for the stock exhaust valve and leave the rest of it under the seat.

Questions & Answers

Does this have bungs for 02 sensors, 2008 Harley Davidson ultra classic Electra glide

2008 Harley Davidson ultra classic Electra glide

Yes, the system for the 2008 FLHTC would include O2 bungs to connect the stock O2 sensors to.

Baffles?

Does the exhaust system come with baffles?

All Cobra systems that are produced include baffles. This particular system comes with baffles that are removable for easy service.

On the Stratiliner how would you address the Xup valve?

For the Yamaha Statoliner models, the EXUP valve is removed completely from the exhaust system. The valve and cables are not needed with the new Cobra exhaust system, leave the solenoid box under the seat in place without the cables. This will keep the system in check to not throw a fault code for the actuator. Detailed installation instructions are included with every Cobra exhaust system showing you exactly how to go about this work.

I have a 2014 Stratoliner Deluxe I'm about to put Speedster extra Long's on it do I use the O2 sensor or not

Yes, you will need to re-use the OEM oxygen sensor in order to install this exhaust on your machine. That is, unless of course, your machine is equipped with an oxygen sensor eliminator kit - basically a resister that plugs in place of the O2 sensor's harness. If that's the case, you'd need to add an O2 sensor bung plug so as not to be blasting exhaust gases all over the side of your bike.

Are these pipes shielded, "Blue proof?

Yes, the Speedster Xtra Longs are equipped with a set of full-length heat shields. They're about as blue-proof as they get. Albeit, it's critical that the bike is tuned correctly to run with the pipes, otherwise, a hot engine can lead to bluing of the exhaust, no matter how well they're made. For that reason, we recommend that you adjust fueling accordingly via either, a Cobra Jet Kit or a Cobra Fi2000R fuel tuner. With either one of those kits, engine temps will be kept in check, and of course - it'll run as well as possible, with the new exhaust system.

Will I need a tuner with these pipes. I have the stock air cleaner?

While you can probably get away with installing this unit by itself, to get the best possible throttle response and engine performance, it's always best to get some sort of fueling modification device. Basically, any time you change the way air gets into or out of, the motor, you'll want to adjust fueling appropriately to maximize any performance gains available from the new setup. We recommend the Cobra Fi2000 PowrPro Tuner Fuel Controller in our store to go with any Cobra exhaust. It'll give you the best possible throttle response and engine output without requiring a trip to the dyno.
