Wired both coils up to my original stator plate due to the correct identification marks. Set stator in center position, hooked up wires, checked for spark, installed fuel tank, and fired it right up.

I spent $2,000 on my rebuild and it would not crank with the kick. But would crank if I pushed started it. Then it finally went out. Pulled the flywheel off and the stator was inside the flywheel. It had come apart. When this one arrived, I put it on and first kick cranked right up. I would have paid $200 for it to crank up. I'm over excited.

Way less than OEM. Fit perfectly. Is producing plenty of power.

does your item support headlight/tail light? garyramir@gmail.com
Moose stators are designed to be OEM-equivalent parts. If your machine came from the factory equipped with those lights, then yes, this stator would be up to the task. If you have more powerful aftermarket lighting on your machine, or you're adding lights to your bike, then your best bet would be a Moose Hot Shot Stator or a Rick's Hot Shot Stator. Both of those are designed to produce more power than the stock stator specifically for the purpose of add-on or more powerful aftermarket lights. To get the most out of those stators, however, we recommend adding a Hot Shot Regulator/Rectifier to go with it so as to maximize the charging system's ability to deliver properly metered power to your bike's electrical systems.

If you were to choose the 1989 KLF300B Bayou 300 2x4 stator or the 1989 Kawasaki KLF300C Bayou 300 4x4 stator, you'd receive the correct item to fit your machine.
