S&S Quickee Adjustable Pushrod Set

These Quickee pushrods can be both installed and removed easily from an assembled engine. The S&S design permits a simple, trouble free installation that does not require removal of the gas tank, rocker assemblies, or even the rocker box cover! OE pushrods may be cut to permit removal without rocker disassembly.

  • Threaded adjuster screws into the pushrod until the threads disengage and the adjuster simply slides into the pushrod, making installation or removal a snap
  • Once the pushrod is installed and adjusted, the locknut prevents the adjuster from moving
  • Works with stock pushrod covers and adjustable to work with all stock and aftermarket cams
  • Sold as a set of four
  • Made in the USA

Product Note: Only fits models with stock engines.

S&S push rods perfect

S&S parts

By   on  Verified Purchaser

First time using the quicker pushrods. They were easy to use. I do like them. I installed new S&S tappets also. Everything worked well. Only road around 20 miles so far due to weather. No ticks yet. Looking forward to more miles.

Made my lifter swap a breeze

By   on  Verified Purchaser

These S&S Quickie pushrods made my lifter swap a breeze. The 1/4" diameter on the adjustable part seems a bit whimpy, compared to other pushrods, but I'm not running race cams, so these should do the trick for my application. I trust the S&S quality 100%.

The s&s quickee pushrods saves me a ton of work and money you can change the cam & lifters without tearing the top end apart saves time and money, great product.

Best adjustable pushrods

By   on  Verified Purchaser

Easiest adjustable pushrods I've found. When lock nut tightened have never had them loosen.

Great

Great product, good value, real easy to install.

Nice adjustable pushrods.

By   on  Verified Purchaser

Awesome pushrods! Just keep in mind that on the M8, the factory tubes are too long to adjust properly, and to finish off, if you decide to go with the S&S pushrod tubes, make sure you get the kit with the tube keepers included. Factory keepers won’t keep the S&S tubes from leaking. I learned this the hard way. Learn from other’s mistakes, so you don’t have to.

Great pushrods

Really nice. Easy to use

Never a problem with S&S

By   on  Verified Purchaser

Anything S&S is really the best you can get. If you are changing your cam, quickee pushrods save a lot of time and if you don’t have valve issues or leaks then why mess with rocker boxes when their good? Be careful about cam timing and read the instructions that come with the pushrods. The only criticism I have is the instructions cover too many models and can be a little confusing.

By Andy

will these fit my "17 M8 street glide and do I need the covers also

If you were to choose the 2017 Harley Davidson FLHX Street Glide S&S Quickee pushrods from our fit guide, you'd receive the correct adjustable pushrods to fit your machine. As for the pushrod covers, those are only required for 2007-2012 model year machines. Specifically, Evolution style pushrod covers are required if you wish to be able to adjust the pushrods easily on those machines. So in your case, for a machine with a Milwaukee Eight engine, just choose your bike and you'll be all set. There's no need to buy a set of pushrod covers to install these on your machine.

By Staff

Do I need different push rod covers for my 2003 Ultra Classic Harley-Davidson

It's a twin cam, 88 inch motor

Yes, you will need a set of 1984-1999 style pushrod covers in order to install the Quickee set on your bike. Those covers can be found on our S&S Pushrod Tube Kit web page. Better yet, you can get the complete kit, with everything you need for your bike in the form of a S&S Quickee Pushrod Conversion Kit. It's a lot less expensive to get the entire kit and you don't have to worry about getting anything else.

I have a 96 sportster 1200 xlh. According to the info on these quickee pushrods I can use my factory pushrod tubes. I am unclear how that is possible. These are a one piece cover with what seems to be very little room for removal much less getting a wrench past to make an adjustment on the push rods. Can you please explain how this works? Are there 2 piece covers available for the sportster?

You're correct in that, Xl models do require two-piece S&S Pushrod Tube Kit to be able to install and use the Quickee push rods. We have pushrod tubes available in the form of an S&S Pushrod Tube Kit or a Drag Specialties Pushrod Tube Kit.
