Customer Reviews

Expensive but worth it

By hdczy on

The numbness I used to get with my old stock grips is much less pronounced with these grips. They are very comfortable when riding the distance. I really like to look of the contrast cut on black bikes with scatterings of chrome.

Questions & Answers

For Roland Sands Chrono grips. Define "air Reservoir" and Define "TBW"

By Anon.

A handle bar air reservoir was used on older Harley Davidson models in the late 80's to early 90's. There was an air fitting similar to a tire fill valve located on the left handlebar to add air to the front air suspension. With these grips you could not install them on a model that was equipped with air suspension from that Vintage as it blocks the fitting to fill the air suspension and inhibits inhibits installation. TBW stands for Throttle By Wire which is found on 2008-2019 Harley Davidson Touring models. This is a system that does not use cables, there are no throttle cams on those grips listed for TBW models, but instead a reluctor wheel in the right side grip to function with the factory twist sensor located on the right side of the handlebar.
