Drag Specialties Solid-State Voltage Regulator

I bought this chrome regulator to replace the original Harley regulator which went bad on me. It was much cheaper than the Harley part which is about $300 and the chrome finish was a nice extra to have to replace the black regulator. It was a no brainer and it fixed the problem.

Bought stator and regulator. As far as the regulator, I am 100% satisfied with both parts put over 230 miles down the day I changed them without an issue.

Good working part. Fins are coated black not aluminum as shown in the photo. No issues as a working electrical part.

Works well with my Cycle Electric Stator. Charges just over 14 Volts and drops to 14 V when all my lights and stereo are on.

Picture shows machined edges black / aluminum fins the one I received is all black. It feels and looks like high quality materials and wires. It mounted right up and works like a charm. Idle at 13.5 volts a little more rpm and it’s a steady 14.2 volts. I’m very happy the VR fixed my charging issues. I was not looking forward to a stator and rotor replacement. Worked perfectly on my 97 Heritage.

It wasn't the cheapest, and my battery hasn't blown up yet! So far it's doing its job.

Direct replacement, 14.5v steady at all RPMs.

Got my bike back on the road and the chrome replacement matches the oil filter. Best of all - no more P0562 code!

Bought a rectifier and it was self explanatory to install. The battery was dying while riding and after the new part I can ride for hours without getting scared that I’m gonna be stranded on the side of the road.

The item was as described with the exception that it didn't have the machined edge on the cooling fins, fit exactly and works great.

Just what i needed to fix my charging issue on my FXDLS, battery light came on and using my FP3 i saw my voltage was under 12V and dropping so the bike essentially killed my battery since it wasnt getting the correct current. Ordered this up, when changing it out this one feels heftier than the OEM one making that one feel cheap in comparison. It bolted tight up as its supposed to and worked like a charm.

Perfect replacement for the stock part. I originally went with an eBay special that burned up in two months and it never seemed like I was getting the needed power out of it. Great part for a great price.

After a couple of other repairs to my little Red Sportster, the test ride proved a little hairy about dusk when she started sputtering. I had thought the light was not very bright and suddenly realized why. Turning off the head light wasn't the best idea that time of day but it got me home. This regulator showed up quick, same as the turn signal module I ordered same day. It fit perfectly with the proper length output wire. It even had a ring connector and shrink tube. I went with my own yellow ring Stakon but I appreciate that they included a connector if I had not had my own insulated one.

Received the Voltage Regulator when it was promised and it was packed nice and tight. Got it in perfect condition, put it on the Glider and it solved my electrical problem!
