The eyelets are just holes in the leather. There is no metal in these lever covers.

The length of the portion that fits over your bike's stock brake lever varies from model-to-model. The fringes themselves measure twelve inches long.

You could certainly add these to your '17 Triglide as they're designed to fit all but the widest of levers. Just be sure to take your time lacing them into place and you'll be all set!
