This is a second set I've purchased. The left turn signal cap broke after being in use for about one year. I bought a complete set of caps in the event another cap fails. I've watched several YouTube videos on putting the caps on. These videos are helpful. Just go slow. The caps look nice but are fragile. They are made of lite plastic and are hardly worth the money.

Not really happy. The covers are cheaply made.
The run/off cover broke even after being warmed up in hot water to make more pliable. I have installed these on several bikes quality just not there any more. You can actually see how material is around the post hole cut out.

I received these promptly and had them installed in about 45 mins. You want to be careful installing these as they are made with rather unforgiving plastic and could be broken if caution isn't taken as they are slid over the switch pivot points. There aren't any installation instructions with these so use a little common sense and a lot of finesse.

Hi, are these metal or plastic? How do you install them?

The switch caps are made of plastic that snaps into place right over the stock controls. About the only thing you need to do is remove the switch housing covers to put the covers on. Little more than a screw driver is required do so. After that, just snap the covers in place, being careful to regard the labels on them as their shapes are switch-specific. After that, just put the housing covers back in place and you're ready to ride!
