I bought this to replace my old drag specialties speedo that lasted over 10 years and 25k miles. Easy swap. I find that the white face is easier to read than the black one. Big thanks to customer support on the help!

Questions & Answers
I have a 1970 shovelhead FLH making into a Bobber. Looking for a mechanical speedo that would mount on the left side down by the head someplace, about even with my knee. Also I don't know what gear ratio my tranny/speedo has. Can you help?

Would like a small speedo with light, black housing & face
You should start by removing your stock instrument cluster to verify what the drive ratio that's employed on your machine. It should be displayed on the dial face or the back side of the cluster. Most of the speedometers we have for sale are a 2:1 ratio. If you wanted to go the electronic route, we do have a variety of Koso programmable electronic speedometers that still have a needle. Of course, with any of those, you'd need to have a pickup or drive unit on one of the wheels.
