Extended length fits and works perfectly as intended for taller, aftermarket handlebars. An earlier review stated the ends that hook to the carburetor were not a proper fit but that is not true. Those ends just require the use of the screw on adapter and retainer from the original cable as do all replacements since there are minor differences in that piece from different years and models.

The top of the cable threaded in at the choke lever the same as the original, but the bottom 2 cables were open ended and the originals thread like the top at the carbs . Luckily mine was broken at the lever so I was able to use the top half of the cable. I probably could make the bottom one's work But it was not necessary. Motion Pro does not currently offer a choke cable that is compatible with the 1983 Honda VT750C Shadow 750.
