Flywheel pullers are essential engine service tools and they are used in a lot of different jobs. Virtually every flywheel or rotor is attached to the crankshaft by a taper on the crank, which matches the flywheel. Torque from the fixing bolt holds the flywheel securely on the shaft.
This tool makes servicing your engine much easier as there's much less risk of damage and the cost that goes with it.

I'm small engine mechanic and bike builder/ restoration mechanic. This tool is a must have for removing the flywheel and some clutch baskets on metric engines. Works on almost all the Chineseum made clones too. Just remember that the threads are left hand.. and try to avoid using an impact on it.. flywheel is tough but not indestructible. I had a few in my box but couldn't find em when I needed it. Bought this one and put it in it's own spot.. Hope it doesn't wander off as well.
