Yes, if you were to choose the 1997 Harley Davidson FLSTC Heritage Softail Classic cables from our fit guide, you'd receive the correct parts to fit your machine.
Just be sure to order one pull throttle cable, and one push (idle) cable for your machine so you receive both of the cables you need to get your bike up and running.
Will this fit my 1996 Honda Z50R?

Motion Pro does not currently offer any throttle cables to fit the 1999 Suzuki VS800GL Intruder 800 at this time.
Is this the opening or closing throttle cable

Depending on the model selected, you should have options to choose once you select your exact model and model year from the drop down menu. The cable type will be displayed in the product details under Cable Type. For HD applications Throttle cables are always your pull cable, Idle cables are your push or return cable. For all other models they will be expressed as push or pull or push/pull when they are paired together in a non-removable set.
Will this fit an NU50M?

Motion Pro does not currently have a cable to fit the Honda NU50M. I would suggest contacting Motion Pro's custom cable department, they can make any length cable you need, provided you have accurate dimensions and the fittings you would need for your specific application. You could always mail in an old cable to have it rebuilt to new specs if they are no longer produced by Honda.

Is this a thumb control style control or like a dirt bike that twist
These particular throttle cables are designed to replace the OEM throttle cable on the machine you select from our fit guide. If your machine came from the factory with a thumb throttle, that's what the cable is designed to work with. Conversely, if your machine came with a twist throttle, then you'd receive a throttle cable designed to fit that setup. Basically, these are stock throttle cable replacements.

Once you select your machine from our fit guide, if you were to scroll down to the specifications table, you'll see the cable housing's length. The overall length isn't provided Motion Pro. The housing length refers to the length of the cable between the fittings at either end.
