So long as you choose stock length before adding to your cart, you would receive a stock length clutch cable to fit that 2005 V-Star 650 Classic.

It would be best if you mocked up the bars and measured how much longer the clutch cable would need to be. That way you know for sure what length over stock is needed for your setup.

I have installed a set of 11"-12" mini apes on my 1998 shadow ace vt750. And seem to need cables just a few more inches longer to operate correctly
Once you select your machine from our fit guide (1998 Honda VT750CD Shadow 750 A.C.E.), you'll be presented with a length option for your bike. In the case of the '98 Honda Shadow 750 ACE, we have these clutch cables available in stock or +6" over stock lengths.
