Semi-Sintered V Pads employ a blended friction material to combine the feel of an organic pad with the stopping power and endurance of a sintered metal brake pad. Specifically designed for heavier cruisers, touring motorcycles and street bikes, these pads have proven surprisingly durable on the brake dyno and in the real world. Friction compound is bonded to the backing plate with the Nucap NRS hook retention system which guarantees zero chance of the brake pad de-bonding.

Seem to be good pads, all in place and waiting on my master cyl. kit

So far, these pads seem much better than the factory pads. I rebuilt the caliper and greased things before installing. Brakes are quiet and smooth.

EBC are the best pads to buy.

The pads fit perfectly and just need some bedding in to do their best. No '79 single pot caliper is ever going match a modern bike so I'll have to team it with a lot of defensive driving.

They are average in just about every aspect.

These pads run cooler and with less brake dust than the stock HD pads. Be sure to thoroughly clean your rotors before install. Nows a good time to check your rotor runout and axle plate runout. Use Permatex silicone ceramic brake parts lube on the caliper pins, anti rattle clip slot and a tiny film on the pad backing.

The pads have been changed and the cycle stops much nicer.

I ride a 81 honda cb900c and its hard for me to find parts. I went to a few places just for my brakes and they had nothing but could order it for a high cost. I went online to search and found some that looked good but the price was way low so i knew they were probably junk. Found this site and seen these claimed to fit my bike, price seemed good to me and bought them. Got them installed and they stop my bike perfectly. Way better then my old ones. Will definitely buy again in future.

Pads were exactly as advertised no issues or concerns, however blister packs pads arrived in were torn open folded up, fortunately all parts inside we’re still there not to mention FedEx seem to have lost the package for three days.

Looks good. Have not put them on yet but believe they will fit perfectly.

I like the feel of these better than sintered pads.

I've had these pads on now for 1300 hundred miles. The pedal feels better- no squeal like the factory pads. When it's time for some on the front I will be using the same.

Decided to give these a shot over the Double H's I had on previously. These are quiet, smooth and have good stopping power. I can't compare the longevity compared to the Double H's, but like them so far.

These are very good brake pads. They might even be better than the OEM that came on my 2011 CVO. They aren't much cheaper than Harley, but their are at least as good so don't hesitate to buy them. I just wish they were a little cheaper!

I have zink rotors, will these work with any rotor?

I had some custom chrome pads on the new zink rotors for several months, the first time it rained I had no brakes, lever was still firm. When things dried out the brakes went back to normal. This happened twice while out of town. Any idea why this would happen?

These EBC V Semi-Sintered Brake Pads are an excellent choice for cruiser and larger touring motorcycles over 1400cc. The brake pad composition is a blend between a sintered metal and an organic compound which provides the best of both worlds. Longer mileage and increased stopping power specifically in wet conditions, all without the aggressive bite of the HH fully sintered metal brake pad. These pads wear less into the rotors if you have show or chrome type rotors, they are a perfect choice for high carbon steel or zinc coated rotors.

I spent $97.33 yesterday (10/26/16). For a full set front and rear, at Houston Yamaha Motorsports. I didn't know that EBC made organic pads. When I got home I realized the screw up/ must have been me somehow. I vaguely remember buying a full set for the bike years ago and with the hike in prices it sounded right in fact a bit cheap. So should I return them and get what I want and thought I was getting or try them out and see what happens. 983lb bike I don't believe they will last 20.000 miles. might make 10,000. then again maybe not. this is Houston and I use the bike as much as I can weather permitting.

Does it matter if a bike is ABS-equipped when using semi sintered?

Sintered and Semi-Sintered brake pads are highly recommended for ABS applications given that many of these machines are equipped as such straight off the assembly line. That goes for Japanese manufacturers as well as European makes. Harley Davidson commonly uses organic pad materials. You should have no problem installing these brake pads on your ABS-equipped machine.
