Does this have the probe that plugs into the battery to check for correct fluid level

I have a Kawasaki Voyager X12 that has a robe that if not attached, the battery light comes on on the dash. I put a agm battery in and the brake light stays on as there is no place to plug the bike's existing probe into.

Yes, the fluid level sensor is included with this battery for any 1986-2003 Kawasaki Voyager XII. You'll see it in the image on our website once you select your exact model from our fit guide.

Is there a fee tacked on for the core of the old battery, and if so do you pay for shipping back to your facility?

There are no additional fees tacked on to anything we sell. As for batteries, there is no core charge associated with it. All we ask is that you properly dispose of your old battery according to local laws and regulations.

We already wasted several weeks dealing w/ a company that sold us a battery that was "guaranteed to fit," but when it did NOT fit, we had an extreme hassle getting the company to respond. They claimed we should have measured the battery first. We do not have time to go through that again, wasting time, energy & money.
