Part fit great, bike charged at 13.67 volts on idle. A must for the no kickstarter bike of today. You need a good battery charger to maintain the fuel pressure and get the bike started. Great part!

Trail tech doesn't currently offer an upgraded stator for the new Husqvarna like my 2020 FC250. However, their tech, Justin, was super helpful and said that these actually fit the bike, they just need the two yellow leads from the harness extended a few inches. He was right. This works perfectly, is a good price from Partsgiant, and only required minor modification by adding some 16 or 18 gauge wire to extend the two yellow leads.

When upgrading a 2017 KTM 450 xcf to this stator, is a new rectifier regulator needed? I'm adding a headlight and blinkers to the bike and already have a radiator fan installed.
It's my personal experience using this very same stator kit on a 2017 KTM 250 XC-F (the same stator fits your machine and mine) that the OEM regulator is more than up to the task of working with the upgraded stator. Mind you, I don't have a fan kit on my bike, but I do have all the lighting components and a Trail Tech Voyager Pro, so power consumption would be close, although yours is likely using more energy than mine with the fan running. I've experienced no way for power at any time nor have I had to replace any charging components with my setup using this stator. You should be good to go with this unit on your machine!

Yes, the stator for the 2012 KTM 350 SX-F would include the pick up coil.
