Neighbor Hater Mufflers by Cobra are not for the faint of heart. These are an aggressive slip-on muffler, for those who think loud just isn't good enough. Each muffler starts as a round 3-inch or 4-inch tube, that bells out to 3.5 inches or 4.5-inches, respectively. It presents an aggressive and classic design at the rear. The muffler tip is then rolled to give it a clean, finished look. Internally, these NH mufflers have a perforated core with strategically spaced holes. This is done in order to produce an aggressive bark. At the end of the baffle is a trumpet shaped inner tip that works in harmony with the belled end, creating a unique look.

I ordered these Slip-On pipes for my 2017 Harley-Davidson Road King. You will need a 1/2, 9/16, & 5/8 socket to take off the stock pipes. And to mount the pipes. I hade the pipes on in 21 minuets. I used mechanic gloves to protect the pipes. It was fast and simple. They sound amazing. My Girl rides a 08 Harley-Davidson Softail Deluxe. She has the VH Long shots. They sound very close to hers. But these sound better rolling. I give it a 10 a freaking 10. LOL.

Installed them on a 2015 HD Limited and it immediately improves the look of the bike. The install is easy and straight forward, just make sure you get the clamps completely out of the way when you take off the stock mufflers. Sounds is a deep rumple, like the sound of distant thunder. Very nice. Not too loud. Had V&H Shortshots on a Sportster 48 before and these are not even close to being as obnoxiously loud as those were. But the Cobra's are noticeably louder than stock and have this nice dark tone to them. Desired improvement and I am very happy with the result.

Great sound for the touring bikes, nice deep rumble at idle, but can still hear the radio, shipping was super fast and super good service from parts giant. They were showing "out of stock " on the site so I called, the guy put me on hold for a few minutes and went to "lay my hands on them" so I got them shipped that day, no shipping, to my front door because that young man actually tried to help me instead of just saying "they're out" so bravo, that my friends earns my business. I can’t even begin to tell you how long I was researching slip on exhausts with Harley’s ‘17 and ‘18 warranty void BS. I was extremely cautious to purchase a slip on in fear of it sounding cheap and wimpy. I wasn’t able to find anyone who had slip ons to heat in person and based my decision solely on YouTube videos. I can’t even express how great these sound. Deep and throaty much better looking and sounding than the stock by far and the best price. A+ would recommend until you get a full exhaust!

2015 Road King 103. 1 hour to remove stock pipes and install new NHs, perfect fit. Not as loud as I thought, but bike sounds like a Harley now! Did not re-calibrate ECM. Put on 120 miles since installation. No performance issues. Sound is great, nice low rumble.

They look great, very easy to install, but Neighbor Hater is a bit strong. Not the loudest but definitely louder than stock. Unless you're in your neighbor's garage at full throttle they probably won't hate you much more than before. Good pipes at a good price.

Great product that's not overpriced like most. It's not much louder over stock but I don't need to re-map/flash the ECM and I'm after a better sound not louder! And from past experience I know if I want louder I can always swap out the stock header in the future (+ dyno/reprogram) and I know these pipes sound great with aftermarket headers.

These pipes are EVERYTHING, 100% as described. I am completely satisfied with the new sound of my Street Glide. I think my wife said it best when she stated and I quote "Now the bike sounds like it looks". It has a nice deep rumble at idle and a robust growl on throttle. First of all I came across partsgiant.com through a YouTube video from a user who recommended the pipes and the website for the COBRA NEIGHBOR HATERS for a 2019 STREET GLIDE SPECIAL...so first things first ...I literally ordered these no more than 48 hours ago and they’re already installed.
PARTSGIANT was right on the money when they said these would fit . I literally watched a few videos on how to install and it literally took no more than an hour. The toughtest part was the right side exhaust and every video said it so it was no surprise that you have to use some elbow grease to pull that sucker out and to put the new one back on. A little WD40 helped pull it out and slide it back in (that’s what she said ) .

These sound great, exactly what I was looking for. I have a 2011 ultra classic with the original head pipes and converter still intact. They claim to be neighbor haters but I don't find them to be that loud. Just a nice deep sound. Shipping was amazing.

For older bikes with a carb, such as the 1995 FLHR - yes, you'll want to adjust the carburetor in order to be sure the bike runs correctly. To do that, you'll need a Dynojet Carburetor Jet Kit as that will include everything you need to ensure proper fuel delivery for your carbureted bikes.
For fuel-injected bikes, and this applies to most slip-on exhausts - the OEM ECU can handle the changes in exhaust flow with ease. That is to say, as long as the bike is fuel-injected, you don't need to adjust fuel delivery in any way.

Since you've already got the Fuelpak FP3 on your Road Glide Special, you've got everything you need to run the Neighbor Hater slip-ons. Just use the FP3's auto tune function after you put these mufflers on, burn a tank of gas through the bike out on your favorite roads, and then flash over the suggested changes. Once you've done that, you're all set!

Unfortunately, Cobra doesn't provide any information in regard to sound output values.
I can tell you that these will indeed be louder than stock, just on their own. But, if you really want sound, you must pair them with a set of Cobra headers. With those two combined, the NH pipes are going to be about as loud as you can get from an aftermarket exhaust system.

So long as your bike is completely stock, the OEM ECU can usually handle the change in exhaust flow with this exhaust. It's when you go from a stock set up, or a setup with slip-ons, to a full exhaust system and/or you put an aftermarket air cleaner on your bike, that you need to adjust fuel delivery.
That said, if you're riding mostly at high altitudes or in an area with poor fuel quality (not usually a problem in the USA!), then yes, you'll want to adjust fuel delivery to suit. To do that, we can't say enough good things about the Vance & Hines Fuelpak FP3 Autotuner for the 2017 Harley Street Glide. It's simple to install and use, plus the included instructions explain exactly how to configure the device to fit your needs without a trip to the dyno. All you need is an Android or iOS smart phone and the free FP3 app and you're all set to use that tuner.

If the current pipes on your bike aren't loud enough, Neighbor Haters are up to the task! Removing each baffle is easy, as they're only affixed with a bolt. For those of you putting these on for the first time, please be sure to put some anti-seize on the baffle bolts, to make it easier for removal later on.
Mind you, the baffle is part of the bell-shaped portion at the end of the muffler. So you will be changing the look of the outlet end of your exhaust.

In the case of the 2018 Road King Cobra Neighbor Haters, you probably won't need to buy a fuel tuner if you're only fitting these mufflers to your bike. There are, of course, exceptions to this rule. If you're in an area that has sometimes questionable quality fuel, or you do most of your riding at higher altitudes, then you'll probably want to look into some tuning options. Otherwise, if you spend most of your time below 5,000 feet and live in the USA, you should have no need to adjust fuel delivery with only these mufflers installed.

While you can probably get away with installing these pipes by themselves, to achieve the best possible throttle response and engine performance, it's always best to install some sort of fuel controller. Basically, any time you change the way air flows into or out of the engine, you'll want to adjust the air fuel ratio accordingly to maximize any performance gains available from the new freer flowing exhaust. I would recommend the FI2000R fuel controller ro the Vance and Hines FP3 for the 2019 Road Glide.

We have not seen any issues with bluing on a properly tuned machine. Discoloration is caused by improper jetting, fuel mapping, cam timing, sitting in traffic, leaving the choke on, etc. As long as you have the proper fuel map for any existing mods you should have no issues with discoloration or bluing of the mufflers. The baffles are a very straight through design with a corkscrew perforation.

The most popular set we sell to match the Neighborhaters slip-ons is the Cobra Pro Chamber Head Pipes followed by the Vance & Hines Power Duals Head Pipes. Both have a similar design with a power chamber or cross over section to help with scavenging and lower end torque to produce power similar to a 2:1 with the traditional look of duals. You can really go wrong with either choice, the Cobra pipes are lower in price if you are on a budget. Just keep in mind at that point you would need a fuel tuner such as the Vance and Hines FP3 with those mods.

All Cobra exhaust systems will included detailed installation instructions. As far as a mount bracket these mufflers will mount to the OEM brackets using original hardware at the stock mount location. As long as you bike is bone-stock with factory HD exhaust, you should have no problem getting these pipes mounted in their place.

There is no provision for swapping out endcaps on the Neighbor Hater mufflers. The bell mount design is an integral part of the muffler's structure and cannot be removed.
