Cometic gaskets always work and given flat sealing faces, and a tiny amount of a non-hardening gasket compound (ie Yamabond, Three Bond 1194, or Hondabond) in my experience they seal better than factory or other aftermarket gaskets. Most of my usage has been on gen 2 Suzuki Hayabusa engines used in a highly stressed environment powering a Prototype 2 SCCA Sports racer which is a high temperature, Mostly full throttle environment.
