She's getting twice the air in fuel she was with the stock carburetor but they are a pain to dial in. It just takes a quarter-turn and you're out of whack once you get that right it's still popping and farting at quarter throttle to wide open then it just takes a needle jet adjustment.
Overall everything I bought from y'all in the last 3 months turn my 05 heritage into a beast. My brother has it built 128 cubic inch motor on basically a frame and nothing else and I'm right there with him in most cases ahead of me with my little hundred in.

What would be the best carburator for my 1987 heritage Softail 80cc

That would depend on what you're after. If you want something that'll bolt straight on without having to add any additional parts to your order, then the Mikuni HSR Smoothbore Easy Carburetor Kit might be the best way to go since it doesn't require the throttle cables and intake manifold flanges from a 1990 Evolution Big Twin and it'll work with the OEM air cleaner, or an OEM-replacement air cleaner as well.
With that, you'll get a great carburetor that's easy to install but with improved throttle response and, potentially, better engine power too, with a proper tuning.
Does the manifold come tapped to the Vacuum port for the petcock?

The carburetor itself has a vacuum port on it. It can be used for either a VOES switch or petcock vacuum source. If neither are to be used on the application the vacuum port must be plugged before use.
Which carb would be best for a 1995 super glide fxd

80" ported and polished heads , Andrews EV27 cam and new bearings , new big radius pipes, Dual fire coil and that's about it so far I am not to impressed with the performance of the S&S super E that is on it and I heard good things about the makuni carbs
The HSR42 would be the best choice for your application. The HSR45 is for larger displacement engines that need more fuel. The tunability of the 42 would be better suited to your current modifications to your 80" EVO.
I am considering a conversion from the magnetic morelli fuel injection to a mikuni carburetor on my 99 Road King 88ci twin cam. I have plans for a big bore kit and performance cams. Im told a 45mm or a 48mm will fit my application, which do you suggest?

The HSR45 would be recommend for a bike that has a hotter cam, professional cylinder head port work, a more specialized exhaust system, high compression pistons. The HSR48 is more for highly modified heads, a displacement increase, either by way of fitting larger pistons, a stroker kit or both. This engine is more likely to be a special engine, built from the ground up to be stronger and to process more air than even a highly modified Harley motor. For your application the HSR45 would offer easier tuning for those upgrades.
