Questions & Answers

I have a 03 Honda vtr with leaking seals , what all do I need to rebuild them be side the gold valve kit ?

As you've rightly surmised, Gold Valve kits only service fork internals. To look after the oil leakage problem, we recommend a K&L Fork Tube Rebuild Kit. WIth that, you'll receive the oil seal, dust seal and the requisite bushings. Please note, they are sold per-fork, so be sure to purchase two if you're looking after both forks. Finally, you'll need to replace the fork oil. Be sure to refer to your machine's service manual to determine the correct viscosity and volume you need to get the job done.
