Nice front suspension kit

By Jacob J. on  Verified Purchaser

The best front end kit money can buy. Very nice. I am pleased.

Race Tech's are The Balls

By Beantown on  Verified Purchaser

If your thinking about going the simple route and spending $800 on a Cartridge setup, Hold Up. I spent $400 on 4 Components to build my 49mm Dyna Front end and couldn't be happy with how the Race Techs made my 19yr old Dyna Purr, Blud 20w, Race Techs, syphon kit and a 1 3/8" cap tool. Man what a game changer, Beantown Bushcraft on YouTube & Insta, if you want to see my install process.

Best suspension upgrade available

By Timothy H. on  Verified Purchaser

I've installed a lot of suspension kits from the big name companies. This is hands down the best ride out there. It beats out kits I've installed that were 10 times the price.

racetech 39mm springs and gold valve emulators

By Herbert E. on  Verified Purchaser

Excellent upgrade for stock fork internals.

Transformational change

By scott g. on  Verified Purchaser

If you don't like the as-issued Harley front end. Too soft, dives while braking, poor compression damping, etc. Don't think twice about the purchase. Consult Race-Tech's spring guide for your weight, and riding preferences, make the purchase, follow the instructions, and you will not believe that you did not do this earlier. Also get a seal rebuild kit, replace the wear items while they are out any way. All told, less than $300.00 in parts for what is a transformational change.

Took the bounce & dive out.

By Jeffrey A. on  Verified Purchaser

Bike handles much better. Front end is stiffer, no dive, no bounce. Pot holes are pretty violent. I ended up lowering the front more than intended (used the damper springs in kit)because I used shorter damper tubes & different lower legs. There's about 2 inches of gap between my fender & fairing (road glide) but it doesn't hit. You have to drill (4) 5/16 holes in your damper tubes if they aren't already there from the factory. Followed directions to the letter. One thing the directions don't tell you is to- recheck fluid height after pumping tube to get air out. Fluid height will change after you do that. If using stock length tubes etc on a bagger (20.5" long tubes if I remember correctly) each leg took 10 oz of oil, which is the same as factory capacity.

Race Tech

By Timmy on  Verified Purchaser

Nice kit to make your front end more responsive. My bike came from factory with air on the front. Changed to this and did away with air . Also allows you to adjust the front for you style of riding a big plus.

Willis kit fit a 2003 Electra glide standard

By Anon.

Yes, if you were to select the 2003 Harley Davidson FLHT Electra Glide Standard fork kit from our fit guide, you'd receive the correct front end components to fit your bike.

By Tom

Can I rr this kit from the top fork caps ?

By Jimbo

2013 883n harley sportser is this easy install any special tools or should I follow manual?

It's really not that difficult to do the job, but you're going to need to remove the forks to get those emulators in the forks on your bike. It's only daunting if you don't study a little bit before you get started. A service manual is always a good start then maybe watch some YouTube videos for further reference. If you have a set of good hand tools and the ability to hold the front end of the bike off the ground in some manner, other than research, there's really not much to doing work on most forks.

By Tom

Is there an option for stock height... or just 1 or 2 inches lower?

By Michael

The kit is set up for stock height. However they do include the necessary parts if you would like to lower the front end 1" or 2". It's

By Andy

Can this kit be installed without lowering the front end. I want to keep it at the stock height

By James

2010 street bob

Yes, you can keep the stock ride height with this kit. It just happens to be that they include the spacers needed to lower the front end if you so desire to.

By Andy

What exactly is included in this kit?

By Pj

These kits come with springs, spacers and fork cartridge emulators for both forks on any of the machines you select from our fit guide. You'll probably want to add some fork oil and fork seals to your order so you have everything you need for a good, leak-free installation.
