Will neutral light still work?

Will speedometer need to be recalibrated?

It depends on which machine it is that you're working on. Often however, it does require a different type of neutral switch (usually a single-post switch) to function correctly on account of the revised shift drum's shape. And yes, the speedometer will need to be adjusted. Assuming it's fed by an electronic input, a Dakota Digital Electronic Speedo Adjust Tool would be needed to have your instrument to read correctly.

Can I use the stock transmission housing?

And how much machining is it gonna take to put that in or is that a slide just slide the stock gears out and slide the baker in and assemble the shift forks, and other things around it.

This transmission gear set from Baker will fit right into the OEM transmission housing of any machine you select from our fit guide. There's no machining required to fit it in place, either. That's what makes these kits so awesome - out with the old gears and in with the Baker gears. In addition to the improved gearing, you'll also notice way smoother gear shifting, too. We've had nothing but compliments when it comes to these gear sets!
