Questions & Answers

Are there two springs in each kit, or are two spring codes required for the full fork?

By BW

As is noted in the item's description, these are sold in pairs. You only need to purchase a quantity of 1 to service both forks on any machine you select from our fit guide.

I am 140 lbs. I ride a 98 CR250R. Will these springs be good for motocross/track riding?

By Walker C.

You would want to go with the .42 kg/mm springs for that 1998 CR250R with your weight.

By Andy

Looking for a new set of fork springs/rear spring for 2007 Yamaha wr450f. I'm about 200# fully geared up and feel like back end is lower than it should be.

By Anon.

Hello, I'm thinking I need new rear and front springs for my stock 07 wr450f. I'm about 200# fully geared up and feel like back end is lower than it should be. What would you recommend in part numbers and sizes? Thank you

For your weight, you would want fork springs with a rate of around .51 kg/mm and the shock spring rate of 5.92 kg/mm.

By Andy

I am looking for front fork springs that would accommodate a 105 lb. Rider on a 2016 ktm 65sx

By Larry

For his weight you would want to be close to .3 kg/mm on the spring rate. The closest offered by Factory Connection is a .31 kg/mm part number IIR-031. Race Tech also offers a set of springs that would work at .30 kg/mm part number FRSP 303730.
