Worked perfectly

By Russell S. on  Verified Purchaser

Worked perfectly mine were the exact same length is my OEM springs.. they look to be high quality..although they we're a little louder than my OEM springs that's to be expected with the shot painting rough texture.. they made my bike do exactly what I was wanting them to do which was to make my bike ride a little higher in the stroke..I'm happy with them!

Smooth and firm.

By Fazal on

Installed on 2008 Suzuki Gs500F. Ride is nice and smooth; rebound set at approximately 15-17 mm this was done by cutting the provided pvc pipe to length. Note: I also used 15w maxima shock oil for the install. I weigh approximately 175lbs.

Huge upgrade

By Spencer K. on  Verified Purchaser

I've only had 1 ride it so far but it's a huge upgrade from stock. I'm about 215 lbs without gear.

Exactly what I needed.

Heavier Rider

By Steven B. on  Verified Purchaser

I'm 223 pds and my son is 245, we needed heavier springs for the front suspension forks and these worked great!

Great value

By John O. on  Verified Purchaser

I've used them in the past and they hold up well without sagging over time like cheaper springs can. They really improved the ride of my road king and it stays up in the stroke better.

Worked as expected.

Proven product, no issues

By Patty C. on  Verified Purchaser

I'm 230lbs and bought these to help prevent the forks on my little bike from bottoming out with my weight. They are not progressive, but they are much more appropriate for my size than the stock ones, which are .45kg/mm for my bike.

Race Tech springs

Springs arrived early and made a big difference!

Race Tech Fork Springs

By LeRoy (Junkyarddog) on  Verified Purchaser

I bought a set of Race Tech springs for my 1978 SR500e project. I went with the .90 kg and what a difference they are!! The front end is stiffer but not too stiff. Still a great ride quality and worth the money for sure. I did have to fig out the sag, but it was really easy to fig out and I would highly recommend this upgrade to anyone with a vintage street bike. I have since bought a pair of progressive rear shocks to match so my set up is complete.

Night and day difference

By Randal L. on

I put Race Tech springs on my Suzuki GV650 and couldn't be more pleased. The handling, ride and braking are all much better. If you are looking to improve the ride quality of your bike and have a small budget, this would be a good place to start.

39mm heavy springs

By Andrew C.

I'm 48 230 6' riding a fxd dyna looking for heavy springs. Something has to be better then stock. Please and thanks

For your needs, I'd recommend going with a set of 0.90 kg/mm weight FXD fork springs. With that, you should see a significant improvement in front end performance given that the OEM springs are pretty middle-of-the-road (heh) for most riders.

2013 switchback will these work?

By Tony

I am 210lbs and have added a batwing and stereo system to the front end.

Yes, if you were to choose the 2013 Harley-Davidson FLD Dyna Switchback fork springs from our fit guide, you'd receive the correct components to fit the stock forks. The added accessories will not interfere with the installation of these fork springs.

Are these fork springs drop in??

By Mike

I have a 1996 Harley Davidson FLSTN. The Bike has been lowered way too much for me. I am trying to put it back to original height, or at least close. Will these do the trick?

Depending on what components were used to lower the front end, these springs may or may not be right for you. If all that was used to lower the front was a different set of springs, then yes - the FLSTN fork spring kit from Race Tell will do the job. It comes with a pair of fork springs along with a preload tube that is to be cut to length as specified in the included instructions. With that, you should have everything you need to get the front end back to stock height.
