The MSR Pro Disc Guard is machined from aircraft grade aluminum so it will be the first to take that hit, standing firm in the face of destruction. The disc rotor is free to spin round and round until it's time to jam on the rear brake pedal, slide around the old oak tree and pin it to the next corner.
