Good quality and fit. My 31 year old originals were hard as a rock. If you have gone to the trouble to take off your carbs, spend the money and change these. I bought the last set they had at the time hopefully, the will produce more. Getting the carbs reinstalled is a chore. Be sure to lube these boots up very well. Would buy again.

Spray starting fluid idle speed a little is it the boot

Could be a boot, vacuum fitting or intake leak in that area. Look for weather cracking, that is usually a sure sign the boot is failing. It could just need a new O-ring or need to be re-seated if carb work was just performed.
