Jims USA 6-Speed Transmission Assembly


JIMS Precision-Cut 6-Speed transmissions with late model improved shift drum and shift lever assemblies. Includes chromed covers, trap door and is shipped complete with bottled transmission oil and instruction sheet.

  • Specifically engineered for Evolution Big Twin engines
  • Come with close-ratio 1st gear, stock 2nd through 5th gears and .86:1 overdrive 6th gear
  • Gears are CNC-machined; shifter dogs are machined with lead-in ramps for better and quicker shifting
  • Requires clutch-release rod and bearing, final drive sprocket and transmission lube (sold separately)
  • Made in the USA

These transmissions can only be had with either; a raw or polished casing, The top and side covers, regardless of the finish you choose, are polished.

What type of lube for a six speed jims in a 99 roadglide

For these particular transmissions, Jim's recommends using 20-24 fl. oz. of Torco 80W-90 oil for the first 500 miles. After that, Jim's recommends the use of a quality 75W-140 synthetic transmission oil, such as Bel-Ray Gear Saver Synthetic Hypoid Gear Oil.
