They are super easy to install, definitely recommend taking your time, solder your wires and shrink tube. I found a video on YouTube which showed how to do it. To give yourself a little extra wire I completely disassembled the stock lights to get about an inch and a half worth more wire to use.

Yes, you would need resistors installed along with these signals in order for them to flash at the original pace. If you search for in-line resistor on the site you should be able to find them.
