How much horsepower gain is expected when adding this kit to a 2020 XL1200. I have seen more articles and reviews about this kit on an 883 but none on the 1200s

It depends on a few different factors, the overall condition of your engine, other aftermarket intake/exhaust components &etc.. S&S claims that output can go up to 85 horsepower when this kit is used on a machine with a full exhaust system, aftermarket intake and a properly tuned fuel map.

Can I use staggered exhaust pipes with this kit? If so what do you recommend?

I have 2010 Sportster model '48

These cylinders will work with any exhaust system that fits your bike in its OEM configuration - so really, whatever you like will do the trick. But, because you asked - I personally like Vance & Hines Mini-Grenades 2-into-2 Exhaust System. They look cool and sound great.

Yes, absolutely! S&S Hooligan big bore kits make it easy to bump the power on your 1200cc Sportster with just about everything you need in the box. They work with factory heads, pushrods and intake components making installation about as easy as possible.
