S&S 4" big bore cylinder and piston kit boosts Twin Cam 88 Harley-Davidson big twin engines to 100" displacement. This kit does not require any machining, rebalancing or engine removal, and includes just about everything you'll need to complete the installation. Great quality kit for twin cam. I had to machine the domes down on the CP pistons because my heads are 79cc not 85-90cc.

If you are wanting to upgrade your 88 twin cam. I highly recommend this kit came as described. You will need to get a gasket kit for the rocker boxes.
Now I have enough power and speed that my buddy can't just leave me in the dust with his 117. The S & S 100" big bore kit is worth every penny I will assure you that you will be as impressed as I am with the performance increase.

Do you have to board the cases?

Nope! That's what's so awesome about these Sidewinder kits. There's no extra machining required to fit them to any machine you select from our fit guide.
And this kit will bolt right up and I can use my stock heads I don't need to machine anything

Would S&s 570 cams be a good fit with this big bore kit

Yes, absolutely. Any cam that's bumpier than stock would be an improvement, and the 570 cams are about as big as they get so they'd do well with the 100" big bore kit!

i have an 06 night train, using this kit do i have to upgrade the cams and switch to 6 speed transmission?

It is not necessary to upgrade either of those parts. If you want to get the most out of this kit, I would suggest going with a set of cams as well.
