EBC 10-Button Floating Contour Wide Band Brake Rotor

High luster brake rotor featuring stainless steel brake rotor rings/blades and a stainless steel center hub. The reason EBC has opted for stainless steel center hubs is due to the weight and heavy duty nature of larger American motorcycles often using twin cylinder technology, which can lead to more vibration or frame shake.

  • Fits standard 10 bolt hubs
  • Wide band rotors are for use with OEM style brake calipers
  • Sold individually

Questions & Answers

Ask Question

In the title it says wide. Does that mean thickness? What's the difference with this one and the narrow

While it's not entirely evident by looking at the images provided by EBC for the rotors in questions, the difference is only in the radial width of the friction surface between the wide and narrow-band rotors. For the two different styles of rotors that fit the same bike, the outside diameter will remain the same, for obvious reasons, but it's the inner portion that's a little wider on the wide band rotors. You'll notice that the areas around the buttons between the carrier and the friction surface has more meat on it for the wide band rotors. Axial thickness and wear life for either version of rotor is going to be no different, assuming all else remains the same.
