Sound level , what is the decibel level in? Will it pass a sound level for inspection or like dual sport events were concerns I stated in their event descriptions about sounds.

Without knowing what machine you're riding, I can't say for sure. I can tell you that these mufflers come equipped with a spark arrestor, and as such - they do meet certain sound criteria. That's because USFS requires that a certified spark arrestor's noise levels must not exceed 96 decibels when operating according to SAE J-1287 standards. That noise requirement is often the standard used by various race tracks to measure sound output level of a given machine. Of course, be sure to check with your rider area's regulations to be sure this muffler meets those requirements.
