  • Twin Tuner II has all the features of the original Twin Tuner and also includes ignition timing control capability
  • Easily adjusts the OEM Delphi fuel-injection and ignition to match the requirements of performance parts including high-compression pistons/heads, camshafts, free-flowing exhausts, and low-restriction air filters add 30% or subtract 20% fuel and retard spark timing up to 10 Degree
  • You can use the mode and up/down push button switches to make fuel trim adjustments in the rpm and throttle position ranges required by most applications; the fuel trim value is displayed on a bright daylight readable LED display
  • The Twin Tuner also has an advanced mode, using the optional USB Interface and PC Link Tuner software to make precise fuel adjustments and allows independent adjustments to the front and rear cylinders
  • May be compatible with other controller maps
  • Easy plug-in installation and setup, with no splicing, cutting, crimping or bulky interconnections
  • Compact size only 4" long x 2" wide x 1/2" tall
  • Compatible with Twin Scan II+ Tuning Aid install the Twin Scan II+ and ride the bike, then copy the air/fuel ratio corrections calculated by the Twin Scan II+ into the PC Link Tuner software

Good instructions, easy to wire-in. Excellent customer support from Daytona Twin Tec. I set recommended programming from included chart and solved my lean condition. After I install the S&S 509 cams I'll take her to The Dyno guys for a tune. Well worth the money & time. Great alternative to more expensive tuners. Will this work with my bike using Vance and Hines staggered long exhaust and does it have options on exhaust types

Yes, this would be a very useful tuner to work with your bike's particular set, and especially, as it evolves over time.

Is this tuner what they consider a "fooler" or is it actually making the effective changes?

I'm not sure what your definition of fooler happens to be, so I can't comment on that. I can tell you that this particular device plugs in-between components such as the ECU/fuel injector(s), ignition &etc. (which, exactly, depends on what bike you have) and modifies the incoming or outgoing signal to enhance engine performance. The Power Commander works in much the same way. Other than that, pretty much every fuel tuner on the market works in this way. There are those that flash/reprogram new settings over to the ECU or completely replace said ECU, The Vance & Hines Fuelpak FP4 is an example of the former, while the Thunder Heart ThunderMax ECM with Integral Auto Tune System. Back to the Twin Tuner in question, this device - when configured correctly, has been proven to be an effective fuel tuner for a wide range of applications: aftermarket exhausts, air intakes and cams are well within the purview of this tuner.
