Shocks

I received the coilover shocks without any damage. They look very nice, but I am not ready to install them on my build yet, I think they will work very well.

Drag Specialties Adjustable Shocks

Fit perfect definitely don't scrape the ground as bad in the mountains...and added some bling to bike too!

Best money I've spent

Best money I've spent in awhile! I'm extremely satisfied with the shocks and glad I didn't spend the $1200 on legends.

Best bang for your buck

Best bang for your buck! You can adjust them to 14" , gives you that gap!

Adjustable shocks

By   on  Verified Purchaser

These are pretty nice shocks! Love that I can adjust height and load. Haven't had them on road yet but they look good on bike.

Very happy with coil over shocks

I never was sold on Harley air shocks. I bought this bike with 1600 miles a few weeks ago changed them immediately. Very happy with coil over shocks.

Shocks

Nice shocks for the money. Much better than stock. Fit was perfect on my 17 wideglide.

Good inexpensive shocks

By   on

I was tired of pumping up the factory air shocks on my 2012 FLHX so I bought the 12" version and set the height at 12.5" and 6.625" on the springs. I also installed a 2" lowering kit and my bike rides much better now and has no issues.

Could compete with the higher end expensive shocks..

Had a blown out stock (Factory) shock and bought the Drags. For the pocket savings, well worth the purchase and lots of saved money! Mostly if you want a comfortable ride you'll pay more for a name and have same riding comfort.

Hotcha...Goot shocks

By   on  Verified Purchaser

Mine wuz chrome...shiny mon! Squishy feel. Goot shocks mon. {my Mama likes em too mon.}

Happy so far.

Great shocks for the money. Way better than the worn out stock shocks on my FXRS. No more bottoming out and a good ride. Would recommend them to a friend. If you don't want to spend 1000 dollars on shocks give these a try.

Questions & Answers

Will these fit and work well on a 2005 Dyna FXDC

I know they'll mount but how will the spring rate feel on a dyna?

If your shocks are OEM and/or have never been served, you'll find these shocks to be a great improvement in ride quality. The internal valving is much-improved when compared to stock so they tend to provide a smoother but better feel for the road. They're actually pretty nice. The most important thing is to get the spring rate correct for your needs. Generally speaking, if you're over 250 lbs. and ride solo most of the time, if you ride two-up at least 50% of the time, you'll want to choose the heavy-duty spring rate. Otherwise, go for standard rate springs.
