Overall good product. However the primary derby cover gasket does not fit a 1998 FLSTC. This gasket kit comes with a 5 hole gasket but the stock gasket is 3 holes.

What is the difference between foamed or paper with bead

Foamet gaskets are thick, spongy materials that rely on overall compression to create a seal, while paper-with-bead gaskets use a thinner paper base with a raised bead to concentrate the sealing force on specific areas, particularly along the perimeter. In terms of sealing capability, from least to best paper -> paper with bead - foamet.
