Bad finish

Very poor finishing. The powder coating had a very bad mottled pockmarked area several inches across. Also, right out of the package there was a bad scratch on the back of the sissy bar. I could have saved half and bought foreign and received better quality but made in America is important to me. I bought from one of their distributors. I suppose I could have emailed them and waited for a rma. I could have repacked everything and schlepped it back to the post office and waited in line with covid people. I could have waited for a yay or nay from the distributor and then waited some more for a replacement or refund. What a hassle. It would be better if they inspected the product before sending garbage out the door. It is solid but my bike is beautiful and pristine except for the badly finished sissy bar. I hope I can get over being repulsed by it every time I go to my bike for a ride. I give good reviews when warranted not just when things turn out bad. I tried to leave a review similar to this on the distributors ratings section but they won't post it. Thanks
