The VStream gets its name from the unique shape and dimensional contours designed and engineered into the windscreen. The patented "V" profile helps push the turbulent wind out and away from the side of the rider's head, producing a quieter and more comfortable riding experience. This improvement also reduces wind noise and buffeting for the passenger.

Just bought a 2012 Fltrx. The wind shield isn't working for me.

It measures about 12 inches in the center. Wind almost knocks my glasses off. So I go with a taller wind shield? What do you suggest

Without having your sitting on the bike to measure, it's difficult to specify which would be best for your particular needs. One supposed standard says that you should be able to see a spot on the ground at 50 feet in front of you when normally seated on the bike. Take that measurement and see what height windscreen would work based on that.
Of course, the taller the windscreen, the more wind it'll keep from hitting you, but you may not need to go with the full-on 17" tall windscreen just to keep that wind from pulling your glasses off.
