The bearings are a superior design compared to the OEM. They have internal o-rings to seal the inner races of the bearings, where the stock ones do not. They are also tapered roller bearings compared to the stock ball bearings.

These are sold individually,so be sure to order the correct quantity to replace all the bearings you need. With regard to the blue material, that would be the elastomer double-lip seal that's designed to keep dirt and debris off the baring surfaces for extra durability and wheel bearing longevity.
