The original 2-point QuickSet mount Deflector Screen was first introduced in 1980 and became an instant hit with riders everywhere. It defined the term "universal windshield." It was then followed up with the Street Shield, a larger screen with a 4-point QuickSet mounting system. On my Indian Scout I wanted to avoid a big windshield or fairing. It's a Scout - not a bagger! This deflector was the solution for me. I can now ride at 75 mph without feeling like I'm in a hurricane and I haven't turned my bike into something it's not. It doesn't provide the protection of a full windshield or fairing, but it does what I was hoping it would. It takes some experimentation with the adjustment/s for best results.One of my better mods - and it didn't break the bank.
