Questions & Answers

So if i get this piston, do I have to send my cylinder to get machined so the piston can fit?

By Henry R.

Generally, these pistons are replacements for the stock bore on any machine you select from our fit guide, albeit some may be offered in A, B. or C sizes. If the option is available, you'll need to carefully measure the bore on your machine and refer to its service manual to determine what size piston is required for a proper rebuild. The only time you'd need your cylinder machined is to accommodate a big bore piston.
