Does it accept my speedometer cable?

No, all Trail Tech instruments come with their own sensors for their various functions. You will need to wire the included speedometer sensor, tachometer sensor &etc. up to your machine using the included components as these systems do not plug into any of the OEM components.
What about durability.if I was to leave my ATV in the weather ,would the trail tech by fine

These are well-made, totally sealed instruments. Many of us at PartsGiant towers use them on our own bikes as they've proven exceptionally reliable and easy to use. You shouldn't have any problems with it, even if it's left on your quad, outdoors, over extended periods of time.
