Vance & Hines Fuelpak FP4 Fuel Tuner

The promotional videos for this FP4 is extremely misleading. Everything looks super simple and straightforward. When in reality that is extremely cumbersome and not very easy to navigate. Spend a beautiful Sunday. Trying to get it to transfer a map. After spending hours on hold usually the third and fourth caller are on the list finally get to one and be told that there is no one available to leave a voicemail with a full inbox. Finally, seeing some comments about deleting the app and reinstalling it looks like it loaded a map. Not the particular map that I was looking for as I am running screaming Eagle slip on/ no baffle is not available for selection on my model. Nor is any selection of a hi flow air intake option at all. So I decided to run an auto tune It sounded good, but ran like holy hell around the block. I've read reviews of this, but no one ever mentioned to the point of almost stalling out and extremely loud pops/cracks halfway home I turned auto tune off ran with the closest map I could get to my modswhich is pretty much stock 103. It seemed to run home before the storm OK. I'm gonna need to do a whole lot more research for this autotune feature. So initial impression review is very mixed.

Put this on my 2011 HD Ultra Classic. Super easy to install. If you have any issues call Vance & Hines CS and they will walk you through.

Good tuner did have to reload and reload but it works good. The tuner also has throttle settings and RPM limiter works good, and lots more settings.

After putting the Vance & Hines exhaust on my Tri glide, I wanted to be sure I was getting the peak performance out of the engine

This unit worked as advertised. I did have an issue with the FP4 not wanting to flash to my bike. I has bought it new and didn't really know much about the bike. Emailed Vance & Hines about the issue. They determined from my uploaded data the my bike had a non OEM cam in it. They modified the tune and I was able to get the bike flashed. Customer support from Vance & Hines was awesome. My bike is getting an extra 2 mpg.

Easy to install and to program.

08 Dyna install was easy especially for a 65 year old as I'm a dinosaur technically speaking. Bike runs good, lowered idle to 900 rpm after flashing tune which I like. Cobra 909's exhaust w/ s&s intake runs and sounds so much better. Haven't even auto tuned yet. Which should dial in even better!

I purchased my bike with LAF pipes, and it's incredibly loud. After installing a v&h air cleaner and the Fuelpak 4, I noticed a significant improvement in the smoothness of my bike's performance. The decel pop is nearly gone, and I feel a substantial increase in power at higher speeds. I highly recommend the FP4 to anyone looking to enhance their riding experience.

This was a perfect tuner. Download app, flash tune, unplug. lil bit of auto tuning for bit so it settles in place. Once tune done no poppy sound, smooth

I had troubles getting the fuelpak tuned correctly, due to the the only instructions being a QR code that led to the wrong video. However the product was decent once installed, and seems to be working alright.

Very easy to install. Software has finally been updated to auto tune very well. First few months of having it I experience a lot of IOS issues. Vance and Hines has made a great IOS update last week and everything runs very smooth now.

All I can say is, based on my limited experience with remapping my bikes, this device worked flawlessly and my bike is running better than ever!

So far so good. Did a stage 1. This is easy to tune and my AFR is exactly where it needs to be. Bike runs so much cooler now.

Works great after figuring out how to connect it. My bike kept powering down because my lithium battery. Hooked battery pack up and programmer worked great. Made a big difference in performance and especially initial take off.

Got the fp4, but had to send it back to vance and hines because of a bad bluetooth chip in the tuner. Received the new tuner an works perfectly.

Could not be easier to install and get running. Has to reload program twice due to some bug. Called tech service, they were really helpful.

Anytime you can override the Harley computer. I had two FP3 tuners and wouldn't use anything else. V&H have great tech support.

Would not auto tune bike, drops communication phone interface. Not as easy as 1-2-3.

Had a little trouble getting the map for my bike because I went with S&S exhaust and intake but when I called Vance and Hines they got me going in the right direction pretty quick and so far it's been really good

Only been on the bike a few days but it's working fine bike runs a lot better so far. Didn't have my slip ons on the list of options but you can call them and wait 20 minutes on hold and they will tell you which ones to pick. Haven't had time to mess with much of the other stuff like gauges and auto turning yet.

Took time to get it set up but working good.

FP4 improved my 22 Street Glide very much. The Screaming Eagle tuner was lacking. No dealer needed to do the tune. I win.

I've been using the V&H Fuelpak FP3 for years on several Harleys and love it - the FP4, paired to an iPhone, not so much (installed on a 21 FLHTK). Thanks to the patient help of a tech at V&H I was able to get the unit paired to my iPhone and working, but the app is definitely not prime time. Customer service from Partsgiant was above and beyond - I wanted to have the unit installed for a 1100 mile ride I had coming up and got it to me a day ahead of the date promised. Excellent!

Had what I wanted in stock. Vance & Hines FP4 was cheaper. Thank you!
