I own a 2023 HD Road King Special 114ci. Will this need programming or any involvement from Harley Davidson service department to complete installation or for 100% functionality?
Outside of configuring the unit itself to work on your machine, there's no need to flash the ECU or anything like that, in order to have it function as advertised after it's properly installed. No trip to the dealer is required.
