Was afraid we would bottom out but I set it to the stiffest setting and we hit some decent bumps and they didn't bottom out. I'm a short man 5.5 and both feet are flat and even a little knee bend. If you are on the fence, buy them.

The four stars was no directions were included with my purchase. There was a QR code to scan but it only provided the very basic instructions, worthless. Value, let's see how long they last.. The shocks seem to have quality feel to them and that's a good thing.

Shocks are awesome they lower your bike so you need to adjust to the roads you are riding. Two inches of travel instead of 4. I had regular burly 10.5 these are definitely better than them for ride comfort. Shocks are 11.5 inches then red spring compression when you put weight on them lowering bike to 10.5 inches with two inches of travel instead of one from standard 10.5 burley. Best shock if you want to lower your bike.

Good quality shock, not sure what the purpose of the little red helper spring is, as it completely compresses as soon as it came off the jack, either way, good ride quality, and handling.

I have stock single side hand adjust on it now.
The OEM Road Glide Special shocks measure 12" long, so you can expect a little over a 1.5" lowered rear end with these shocks installed. As far as the sidestand goes, usually, that's not required if you're leaving the front end stock. Now, if you were to lower the front end as well, then you'd certainly want to get a shorter jiffy to go with with it.
