Yes, that's correct. Just plug it in, do some minor configuration work: eg. setting wheel size for correct speedometer reading, and inputting odometer mileage. Other than that, bolt it up and get on the road! The included instructions show you exactly how to get everything done. It'll take you thirty minutes, at most, to get back on the road.
