Moose Carburetor

A great product! I will buy another when it comes time to replace the carb on the other 350 Rancher. I installed it, hooked all lines back up, and pushed to primer knob 3 times until I felt a positive fuel charge. The ATV busted right off without even using the choke. I made 1 small adjustment to set the idle speed right, and it idles like a kitty purring! Much better product than the dirt cheap units for sell out there.

Runs great

Only gripe was that the float was stuck from the factory and dumped fuel all over the garage. Carb works fine now.

Plug and play baby! Out with the old in with the new, that simple. As per advertised! Runs better than new!

Right out of the box the carb bolted up and ran great. Just fine tuned it slightly and it was good to go. Put 25 miles on the machine this past weekend and it ran great.

2003 Polaris Trail Boss now runs perfectly with this carb straight out of the box. The fine tuning instructions that come with the carb were much appreciated, but not needed. Completely satisfied with my purchase.

Replaced the original carburetor with the Moose carburetor and my quad runs great. Came with several jets to choose from depending on your needs.

Other than a size difference in the fuel intake ripple, this was an exact replacement. Fuel line was fixed with a trip to ACE hardware and no problem. My 2006 Honda Rancher has never run better! It actually pulled the front wheel in a first to second shift! Holy Smokes! I'm an 66 year old man and have had this since about 2010 and it's running better now than anytime since I've owned it. Yee Haw!

Barely messed with a carburetor but I swapped it out didn't make any adjustments besides the idle and it worked way better than the other new carb. My old carb came with the tiny plastic gas piece for the fuel line, this one comes with the og brass piece. I only used it once so time will tell. The website needs more pictures of this product though

I read a lot of reviews. This one always has good ones. I had no issues with the replacement. If you know what you're doing it's a direct replacement for the o.e.m. carb.

As with everything, time will tell. It fired right up and runs like new with minimal adjustments. Always remember to run ONLY RECREATIONAL NO ETHANOL FUEL in any of your equipment or you will regret it!

The Moose carb worked great in my Honda 1999 foreman. All the new OEM connectors came on the new carb. Runs great with no adjustments.

There are cheaper carbs online--and there are the pricey OEMs...but Moose fills the niche of high quality without the high price! I love it! Especially the detailed (& easy to follow) diagrams and instructions and adjunct parts that came with it. The peace of mind was worth it!

I tried to keep my carburetors OEM. I was really hesitant about buying an aftermarket carburetor, but I know moose makes great products and I've been using them for over 20 years. I thought I would give this a shot. I took a chance and I'm really happy with the results. I installed the carburetor I had no problem. The four wheeler I installed was a 2002 Yamaha bear tracker. It hasn't ran in nine years. I changed out the intake boot, Put a new air filter, oil, made sure the gas tank was cleaned. Full of oil, The Bike fired up on the first push and ran idle perfectly! I was able to take it for a ride and everything was a smooth as can be. I'm extremely happy and suggest that you give it a shot!

After three Amazoon cheap carburetors this was plug and play, no adjustments, running like new, great product.

Carburetor was exactly like the original minus the high cost. This carburetor required zero adjustments and starts up fast. Highly recommend this carburetor over the cheaper $30 ones.

I've tried the cheaper carbs and couldn't get my 1998 Yamaha Wolverine to run right after buying this one and changing the main jet for higher altitudes my ATV is running like it used to.

Great carb! I got a really good deal on an atv that had carb issues every season I was told. Bought this carb and it all runs great! Plug and play.

Basically, this carb was a plug & play. Once installed a had a minor adjustment on idle and it runs like a champ. I purchased a cheaper one elsewhere and it was junk. Could never get it to run like it should. I installed it on 1998 Honda Foreman 450S. It is well worth the extra cost not having the aggravation of cheaper ones. Highly recommend.

Bought for 1999 Honda Fourtrax 4x4. No adjustments needed. Starts and runs just like it's 1999.

Can't say enough good things about the moose carb for my warrior, straight out of the box put it on fired it up and ran like a champ no tuning at all. That's even with the FMF pipe that's on it as well. Awesome Carburetors hands down!

After installing the Moose carb my atv started right up and now after about a month of riding it is still doing great, my machine hasn't run this good in years.

Honestly I was a little skeptical of this, and this site. I called every local dealership and repair shop in my area and they said the carb was back ordered. Overall very pleased. Perfect fit, just had to do a slight idle adjustment.

Carb was a perfect fit for my quad it was just plug and play quad runs better than when new and no fuel leaks from the carb.

The product was as described. The carb was nearly plug n' play for my 2003 Honda Foreman 450FE. My only piddly gripe is that the gas line input was a 90 degree elbow off the side of the carb vs the straight input of on the stock carb. It kinked my gas line so I had to trim and put another elbow in to complete the install. Outside of that, I couldn't be happier. It literally started right up and ran like nothing was ever wrong with it. Thanks Moose!

Came with a few main and pilot jets. I did change the jets that were installed with ones that were supplied, swapped old carb out with the new one and the machine is running quite well.

Hooked up and ran amazing from the start, literally OEM quality at half price. 10/10 recommend.

Bought an '05 Grizzly as a non- runner, no idea of what was wrong. I originally ordered a "chinese knockoff" carb from marketplace and installed. The machine would start and sorta run but choke out or act like it had timing issues when accelerated and would never run well enough to engage the transmission. I ordered and installed the Moose carb and immediately the machine started, ran, and accelerated perfectly allowing me to drive it. Of course there's other issues with the machine but this carb is the way to go. Do not waist your time or money on anything else.

Just as good if not better than stock. 20% the price of OEM. No scary Chinese goods. 2016 Grizzlty 660 now runs like a champ. Seems to hesitate on the bottom 25% throttle, I'm sure some tuning on the low speed will smooth it right out.

I purchased 2 of these Moose carbs. for my 2005 Suzuki Ozark 250's. The 2 were less than half the cost of 1 OEM carb. they matched right up, line for line. I would recommend that when installing them, you but a little Vaseline on the air inlet and fuel/air outlet of the carbs to help them slide on the round boots. The aluminum seem to be very dry. The 4x4's fired right up and run like new again. These carbs. seem to be well built. I would recommend Moose carbs. and purchase again for my 4x4's or other gas powered engine.

The 4 wheeler is working now. I previously bought a 20$ carburetor on the internet didn't adjust and leaked fuel. Happy so far with moose.

Took my prairie 360 to a shop with carb issue and they asked if a cheap carb would be ok as a replacement and I said yes. It ran ok for a month but then it wouldn't I tried cleaning it and adjusting but nothing. Ordered this carb and put it on and it's been great running like brand new.

So far so good.

Carburetor performs better than stock

I bought a 99 TRX450ES that had a $40 Amazon carburetor already installed and the OE carb missing. Could not tune anything as bolts stripped out and parts just did not fit correctly. Looked into getting a replacement and saw OEM carbs for $400 - $500 on line. Not wanting to put that into a 25 year old quad I found this from Moose. After a few hours of run time this past week I can say it's a great replacement. I adjusted the idle speed and that's all it needed.

Swapped out and no adjustment needed. Not quite a month yet but no complaints and seems to run as good if not better than new. Would purchase again.

I had my sons 2003 prairie 360 in the shop for belt/clutch replacement and had them replace the carb. It ran better than when it went in but wouldn't idle, they asked it it always idled rough and I said yes, they checked the valves and they were in spec's but they said the carb was an Amazon one. It leaked fuel all over the garage so I ordered this one and put it on earlier and what a difference started right up and it runs like new. Great price and product.

Plugged it up and now my bike runs like new, adjusted the throttle screw just a little. I am extremely pleased with the new carburetor.

After a lot of power sport service disappointment I ordered this carb and when I changed to it I was amazed how great it performed. Started right up, had a great smooth Idle and my Polaris ran like new. I highly recommend this carb.

Worked great for me. I'm at high elevation (4200 ft.) and it was good to go first time! Starts up first time even after sitting for extended periods.

Purchased it for an 04 Honda Rancher TRX400FA. It was a little pricey in my opinion, but no adjustments were needed, I just Popped it in and was on my way! I would do it again.

Literally pulled it out the box and connected it up. Turned on the gas and she fired right up. Didn't have to adjust any jets or anything for that matter. Fixed my issues and quads back to running great again. AAA+++

I Installed a 50 dollar ebxx/Amaxx carb on my trx450 and got nothing but heartache. I replaced it with this and it works perfect. I didn't even have to adjust the idle. Great deal.

This is a great carburetor both in price and in quality. I looked at different carbs and this one was the best. The other reviews also helped in making the decision. It fit right out of the box with no issues. I did have to make some minor adjustments but this is to be expected.

Right out of the box it was set with the appropriate jets for the quad. It came with additional jets just in case you need to change them out and the booklet helps with finding the proper jet set that you may need. Installed and hooked everything up, primed the fuel, and it fired up. A little tuning on the idle and fuel and she's running nice again!

Bolted on straight out of the box and 4 wheeler is running like it did when it was new!

This is the second carb I've purchased from this company for two separate atvs, even though they are all still Chinese replacements these seem to have some quality control. I literally just installed them and returned the machines to the customers. No tuning needed right out of the box. Usually even OEM carbs I've had to tune. I own Joe's small engine saloon in Maine, and I will not buy any other carbs for atvs at this moment due to the good luck I've had. I've purchased many OEM carbs at high dollar and they to have to be adjusted or further cleaned to run right.. and those amazon and ebay carbs are a true shot in the dark whether or not they'll fit, work or are even jetted.. yes I've bought carbs before with no jets or even tapped to receive jets. So for the rest of my days I will continue to purchase and speak highly of Moose Carbs. 2-0 for now.

I did a little research before I purchased this moose carb. I needed to replace the $20.00 carb that came on it. I'm impressed so far. This purchase is the best money I have spent in a while. It starts easier and runs better!

I put it on and it works great! I didn't have to even adjust the air mix or the Idle.

I thought my Yamaha Rhino was running ok, but when I installed the Moose carburetor on it, it was reborn. It ran so much better, better response, better acceleration, and easier starting. What else can I say, AAA+++ all the way.

Had a stuck needle. Removed float pulled needle out. Runs great.

Broke carb housing on original. At first I put a cheap Chinese one on and seems ok but just wasn't comfortable having the cheapo on there. This unit is much nicer. Better quality. Time will tell but seems ok.

This carb completely transformed my atv and surpassed the stock mikuni ... I by no means regret this carb and I am purely obsessed with how perfect this atv runs now and I have never had it run like this even after rebuilding stock mikuni. Thanks!

Great product and exceptional customer service. The Moose Carburetor is better than the OEM. They milled part of the carb body to give access to the choke cable, which is a pain on the OEM carb. Thank you all for a great product and great service!
