Yes, this instrument has two tripmeters built in (A and B) and also, a programable shift light, too.
2008 heritage softtail classic will this show all of the gears or just 6th gear like the stock one dose

Yes, this instrument will display each gear that you're in, unlike the OEM instrument. In fact, you can configure it to work like stock, where it only shows 6th (really, why would you want that?!), so it shows N and 6th only (also, why would you want that??!!!), or to show all gears that normal folks like you and I would want to see.
Does it show what gear the bike is in?

It depends on what machine it is that you have. If your bike's OEM ECU supports gear indicator output, then yes, the HD-05 will indeed show what gear you're in as well.

Yes, the HD-05 can easily be set to display imperial or metric measurements for both speed and engine temperatures.

What plug-ins would be needed to fit this?
There are no additional plug-ins or wiring required to fit this gauge to any of the machines you select from our fit guide. Each HD-05 meter comes ready to install right out of the box, just swap out the old stock Harley-Davdison gauge with the Koso unit, run through the initial programming steps (eg, setting time, odometer) as outlined in the included instructions and you're ready to ride! No cutting, soldering, or splicing required.
